It may get a little confusing at times to identify the specific format of training that is right for you. The following is a small grid that would help you decide

Online, self-paced courseLive, online trainingIn-person classroom training
What it isOnline, self-study course with video lectures, simulated tests, and other learning aidsOnline classes that follow a pre-defined schedule where an instructor teaches liveTraditional in-person classes delivered by instructors on fixed schedules and at designated training venues

About The PMP Certification

IASSC’s Certified Lean Six Signa Black Belt certification evaluates the readiness of a lean six sigma professional to lead complex improvement projects using the lean six sigma methodology. Such an individual is expected to be able to coach, mentor, and lead lean six sigma project teams, and possess advanced expertise in lean six sigma methodology.

The certification exam is a 150-question, 4-hour exam with multiple-choice true/false questions. In order to get certified, candidates must score at least 70% in the exam. The questions are difficulty-graded in line with Bloom’s taxonomy and cover the Design-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control phases. The body of knowledge on which the exam is based can be accessed on IASSC’s official site.

There are no eligibility criteria to be able to attempt the certification exam. However, it is recommended that candidates go through a training course to familiarize themselves with the certification exam curriculum, and successfully clear their Green Belt level certification prior to taking up the Black Belt certification exam.
