A: PMBOK® Guide or Project Management Body of Knowledge is a collection of processes and knowledge areas that are accepted as best practices for Project Management across the world. This is essentially the sum of knowledge within the discipline of Project Management as maintained by PMI. The current version of the PMBOK® Guide is the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition.

A: The process of getting PMP certified is as follows: 
Step1. Fulfill the eligibility criteria
Step2. Complete the application
Step3. Application review
Step4. Payment
Step5. Schedule test appointment
Step 6.Then all that’s left is to test.

A: The PMP exam is composed of 200 multiple choice questions. Out of these 200 questions, 25 questions are pre-test. The time allotted is four hours.

A: The minute you pass your PMP® exam, you will have to work towards the CCR (Continuing Certification Requirements) program to maintain your PMP® credential and an active certification status. Each PMP® certification cycle lasts for three years during which you will need to earn 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) to renew your certification at the end of the cycle. Once you have successfully completed a single cycle, another new three year cycle begins.If you cannot earn the specified amount of PDUs by the end of the third anniversary of your PMP® credential, there will be a 1 year suspension of your credential after which it will no longer be valid.
