Program Overview

CCNA® Routing and Switching training adds value to the networking professionals career and helps them to advance their careers. A CCNA® Routing and Switching certified professional will have an opportunity to increase their job prospects. CCNA® R&S is the first level of Cisco certification program, it validates the competency levels of network professionals in various networking streams such as Routing, Switching, and Connectivity.

In this training program, participants will gain elementary knowledge in networking hardware such as TCP/IP protocols, Routers, Switches, Land Area Networks [LAN], Wide Area Network [WAN]. After course completion, you will be able to install, configure, operate, maintain and troubleshoot IP and non-IP networks.

Q. How to become CCNA® Routing & Switching certified professional?
A: For obtaining CCNA® Routing & Switching Certification, aspirants have to clear both ICND1 & ICND2, or they can just take CCNAX exam and obtain CCNA® Routing & Switching Certification. The ICND1 and ICND2 exams consist of 45-55 questions each which are allotted 90 minutes to be answered. The CCNAX exam consists of 50-60 questions and 90 minutes will be given to answer these questions. CCNA® Routing & Switching Certificate is valid for 3 years.
Q. What are the prerequisites for taking up this course?
A: Before taking up the CCNA Routing and Switching course, it is important that you have a good understanding of network fundamentals and some experience in implementing local area networks (LAN) & internet connectivity, managing network device security and implementing WAN and basic IPv6 connectivity.

  • On the workshop start date (1 hour before starting off): Your training coordinator attempts to reach you to check if you're having issues in reaching the location/ logging in online.
  • Last day of the workshop: Your training coordinator reminds you to leave your feedback for the training.
  • 1 working day from the last day of the workshop: Your training coordinator reaches out to you with the next steps, like how to download your certificate(s) and how to avail the post-training helpline (as applicable).

Q. How much do the ICND1, ICND2 and CCNAX exams cost?
A: The CCNA certification exams are priced as follows:

  • ICND1 and ICND2 cost $165 each

  • CCNAX costs $325
Q. How does the re-certification of the CCNA certification work?
A: The CCNA credential is valid for 3 years, after which, the participants can get themselves recertified by passing one of the following exams:

  • Any current associate-level exam (except for ICND1)
  • Any current 642-xxx or 300-xxx professional-level exam
  • Any current 642-xxx Cisco Specialist Exam (Some exclusions apply)
  • Any current CCIE written exam
  • The current CCDE written or practical exam
  • The Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) interview and board review
