Application Process for PMI-ACP exam

Once you are pretty confident that you are eligible to take up PMI-ACP certification course, the next step is to fill the application form and take up the exam. PMI-ACP application form is available in both online and printable PDF mode in PMI website (www.pmi.org). Do ensure that you have entered valid email address as this will be the initial mode to communicate. PMI will drop a mail to selected candidates regarding the remainders during the process, you should try to sit for the exam with in one year eligibility period.

Apply for the ACP Exam in the online which is available in the (www.pmi.org) site. A printable version of the application is also available. Once you start filling the application you can save it unfinished so that you can edit the information whenever required.

When you are filling the application form you need to give four important details which include:

1) General Information: (Name, address and educational background) This is the basic information which an applicant should give while filling up the application form

2) Record your Agile Project experience in the application. Use the Agile project experience worksheet in the application to record your experience. You need a minimum of 1,500 hours or 8 months of unique, non-overlapping experience

3) Record at least 21 contact hours of training on agile practices. Agile training can include topics covering agile philosophy, methodologies, principles and practices

4) Make the payment for certification exam ACP Always be aware that PMI verifies received applications at random (in such cases, they will inform you and audits your forum)
